Barn S Learning
K–3 instruction with Miss K—where faith, reading, and a love of learning come together.
Barn S Learning offers daily teacher-led instruction, guided online coursework, and consistent academic support for students in grades K–3. As part of the JMLearning team, our program combines research-based curriculum with a structured, values-driven classroom culture that supports both academic growth and character development.
Barn S Learning serves students in grades K–3 through a structured blend of live instruction and guided online coursework. Students receive one hour of daily Reading and Language Arts direct instruction with grade-level peers, delivered Monday through Thursday via Google Meet. Math, Science, and Social Studies are completed through the online platforms of Bright Thinkers and Ignitia, with ongoing teacher guidance to support understanding and progress.
All instruction is built on research-based, structured curriculum that is adaptable and relevant, helping students achieve proficiency in both content and skills. Curriculum is intentionally selected to align with the school’s core values while meeting the academic and developmental needs of each student.
In addition to daily instruction, students have access to a teacher-led office hour Monday through Thursday for additional assistance across all subjects. This schedule provides each student with a total of eight hours of teacher-led instruction and academic support each week.
Our classroom culture reflects a love of God, America, learning, and rodeo. These values are reinforced through a consistent weekly rhythm that includes patriotic focus on Mondays, Trivia Tuesdays, Western Wednesdays, devotional time on Thursdays, and biweekly Open Arena social time that strengthens community and connection.

What People Are Saying........
“I like that we don't have to sit in class for 9 hours. We have a small class, I can work from home and also do school from wherever which is good for us rodeo kids.”
— Blaze, 4th Grade. 2nd Year JMLearning Student
“I like how it is flexible you can do work on your own time and still be able to ride your horse and rope the dummy during the day. I get more time with my teacher with a smaller class.”
— Hazel, 4th Grade. 1st Year JMLearning Student.
“I enjoy talking with friends about rodeo in school. I love that we can talk about our love for God.”
— Aiden Anaya 8 years old, 3rd grade.
"This school has been the best. Ms. K is so patient with the kids and meets each student right where they are in their education journey. With the online setting she has a very special way of connecting with each student and their needs. The organization and attention to detail has been amazing keeping our son on track in 3rd grade.”

"Due to the exclusion of Christianity, indoctrination of politics, core curriculums, and general safety of our children in public school, we chose to give online schooling a try. JM Learning, Barns Learning, and Miss K have proved that we made the right choice. Miss K is patient, kind, and supportive of her students. She is free to incorporate the Bible into devotional days and lessons. She takes the time to explain academic concepts and help the children to understand by whatever means possible. Miss K finds creative and fun ways to engage the children and keep their attention. She is understanding yet has firm expectations. Additionally, she takes the time to help us as parents, learn the skills we need to assist our children outside of her teaching hours. My children are excelling in school, and we are so blessed to be a part of Miss K’s class!.”
