I’m Miss K
My name is Kim Kammenzind aka “Miss K”, and I am so excited to have joined the JMLearning Team! My two horses JJ and Pig and I hang our hats in Touchet, Washington.
I caught the rodeo bug early in life beginning in the Pee Wee ranks on a terrible Shetland and worked my way up through the ages to qualify for the National High School Finals and Columbia River Circuit Finals in Barrel Racing, and the College National Finals in both Breakaway and Barrels. The arena has always been my happy place.
For the past ten years I have traveled the circuit in a different aspect as a vendor with my mobile boutique, Nobody’s Girl. I have recently sold my business and look forward to returning to education fulltime and serving our rodeo community in a new way.
I have 24 years experience teaching grades K-4 in Oregon State and hold a masters degree from Walden University in Elementary Education with a focus on reading and literacy. You can expect a lot of singing, learning and laughter within our class setting. I so enjoy sharing my love of God, reading and rodeo with my students. So saddle up, and lets learn!
